I have tried a play-doh technique invented by Idit Zoota for making canes of unusual shapes (you can read more about it and see videos at Yonat's page), and I came up with these holly leaves. I've added some red glass beads and finished leaves into festive christmasy bracelets.
I love the play-doh technique for making borderless canes. Your holly leaves are just gorgous and when strung with the red beads, even more so. Great job!
It is an amazing challenge to capture all of a person's work in one image, and some great successes occurred. Some of my favorites were Madonna, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Harry Winston, Naomi Campbell, Coco Chanel, Noel Coward, and Rudi Gernreich. Thanks for this nice info here www.zoppinicharms.co.uk
I really love these. I'm going to have to try the technique soon as part of my 50 blog entries about canes in 2010. Your work is wonderful, I spent a great hour reading your blog.
My name is Zuleykha. I am 32 years old. For as long as I remember myself, I always loved creating something with my own hands. I have been sewing clothes, knitting, stitching; and now it is creating jewelery from polymer clay, which occupied all my thoughts. One of my blogs is in Russian (Stitch'n'clay), the other one is in English (Zuleykha's polymer clay), they are slightly different in content, but they both have lots of pictures in them, so please choose the one you like, and (I hope) enjoy reading :)

Lovely bracelet designs - the "berry" beads perfect with your leaves! Great use of the play-dough technique. :-)
Thank you so much every one!
